Course of Study for Associate of Fine Arts Degree in Music
The AFA Degree in Music delivers a full two-year curriculum which enables students to successfully transfer to baccalaureate institutions at a junior standing. Numerous ensemble and solo performance opportunities exist for our majors. Students interested in creative music opportunities and training may choose to enhance their music degree with our Certificate of Completion in Music Technology.

* Students may choose private study in brass, guitar, organ, percussion, piano, strings, voice, or winds.
† Students may choose to participate in baroque ensemble, chamber choir, chamber music ensemble, chamber orchestra, collegiate chorale, jazz combo, jazz ensemble, music technology ensemble, percussion ensemble, symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, or woodwind ensemble.
‡ Students may choose between Intro to Music Education, Intro to Music Therapy, Composition, Principles of Arranging, or Songwriting.
§ Students may choose between History of Rock Music, Intro to Jazz, or Intro to World Music.
